A residence permit is a document issued by the Agência para a Integração, Migrações e Asilo (AIMA), which allows foreign citizens to reside in Portugal.
The residence permit can be temporary or permanent and must be renewed periodically.
Users with Residence Permits expired by June 30, 2025 are being notified by AIMA's Mission Structure by email, so they can proceed with the renewal.
Users whose permits expire in July can request the renewal online through AIMA's Renewal Portal.

If you have an appointment for in-person service at a Registry Office, please go to the location on the scheduled date and time. If you are unable to attend, contact the service and cancel your appointment.
